Our History

JT Day Pty Ltd was founded in 1961 to market and supply a range of electrical products to local industry. Today the company has grown to be a supplier of quality industrial and hazardous area electrical and related products to a vast array of industry.

Over time, JT Day Pty Ltd has brought together a range of world class products from Australian and international manufacturers to support industries that demand high levels of reliability in extreme conditions and environments. During May 2006 the company finalised construction of a purpose built facility in Balcatta to maintain its headquarters and warehouse one of the largest range of hazardous area specific product in Australia to ensure prompt and reliable supply solutions.

In December 2006, JT Day Pty Ltd was acquired by the U.K. based electrical specialist MacLean Electrical Group.

The MacLean Electrical Group comprises a number of specialist electrical distribution business units in the United Kingdom, an International Projects business in the U.K and in Houston Texas, U.S.A. as well as J T Day Pty Ltd Perth, Western Australia. Our cables specialist, Noskab, is a global provider of power, control, instrumentation and fibre optic cables to target markets. Additional client support is provided by our alliance partners around the world including the Middle East and the Caspian Region.
